Our faculty was initially established as part of Gaziantep University with the decision of the Council of Ministers dated August 12, 1998, and numbered 98/11641. However, it was later transferred to Kilis 7 Aralık University in accordance with Article 78 of the additional provision of the Decree Law No. 26536, dated May 29, 2007. During the Executive Board meeting of the Higher Education Council on December 25, 1998, the decision was made to open four departments within our faculty: the Department of Primary Education, the Department of Turkish Language Education, the Department of Educational Sciences, and the Department of Computer and Instructional Technologies Education. In the 1999-2000 academic year, the Primary Education Department launched the Department of Classroom Teaching, and in the 2001-2002 academic year, the Turkish Language Education Department began offering the Turkish Language Education program, initially enrolling 40 students. The faculty continues its educational activities in the Mehmet-Rıfat Kazancıoğlu Building, which was constructed by the Kazancıoğlu family.
